Ahmed Shaheed, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, issued an unedited report (.pdf) today that “provides a picture of the prevailing situation” of human rights  in Iran. Only fools and liars would call Rouhani or any leader in Iran a “moderate.”  Even those who “run” for office in this farce of a “democracy” must first be approved by the Ayatollah.
