School: We have a right to ban God

A California school district says it will not apologize to a teenager who defied its orders and mentioned God in his graduation speech.

Dave Cottrell’s insight:

Two things have long been entrenched in US society and indeed, are guaranteed by the US constitution:  Freedom of speech and freedom of religion.  In California, a school and law firm that gets paid whether they win or lose are attacking a young graduate on both points.

It matters not whether people agree with him.  His right to freely speak his mind on US soil, and his right to freely practice his religion on US soil, have been and continue to be violated.
