Russia bans profanity – why don’t we?

Can we ban profanity? If Russia can, surely we can as well. The free-speech plank of the First Amendment was intended by the Founding Fathers to protect political speech – not profanity, vulgarity, obscenity or pornography.

Interesting question.  If Russia can rely on their language, why can’t we simply rely on ours?
