A quarter of a million people have signed up for new NRA memberships following the Newtown shooting.
Something has to be done to protect mass murders in the USA, especially to protect young, innocent children so they have the opportunity to grow up and enjoy their lives. But all the rhetoric from Washington seems to be doing is encouraging the people of the USA, the most well armed citizens in the world, to become even MORE well armed, thereby increasing the chances of guns falling into the wrong hands. If present laws were used, especially laws that prosecute people for criminal negligence causing death, people would tend to start storing their guns and ammunition properly, and you wouldn’t start a gun buying spree, which is what happens when you sound like you’re threatening to take away American’s beloved guns.
