“Andrew Chambers, an Army veteran, having served two tours in Iraq recently opened up by sharing his story with TED.

A quick demonstration of the training received in the Army allowing him the ability to control his rage quickly captures the audience’s attention.”

Dave Cottrell’s insight:

There’s something incredibly wrong with a system that will send young men who volunteer to serve their country off to war, then throw them in jail when they get back when they respond to a potentially violent incident according to their combat training.

It seems very possible that this particular vet would NOT have been sent to jail, and may even have been hailed as a hero, if he has NOT been a vet!  How crazy is that?
