There’s something incredibly wrong with a system that will send young men who volunteer to serve their country off to war, then throw them in jail when they get back when they respond to a potentially violent incident according to their combat training.
It seems very possible that this particular vet would NOT have been sent to jail, and may even have been hailed as a hero, if he has NOT been a vet! How crazy is that?
