Canadian Medical Association endorses Elizabeth May’s Bill C-442, for a National Lyme Disease Strategy | CanLyme – Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation

This is fantastic news for all of us who have Lyme disease, our families, and all those who in the future may be infected by this terrible disease.  If understood and diagnosed early, it can be cured quickly and inexpensively.  If misdiagnosed, it will become chronic (proven in the lab – look up Dr. Alan McDonald’s work) and is much harder to treat, BUT  CAN STILL BE TREATED WITH A HIGH LEVEL OF SUCCESS WITH ANTIBIOTICS.  This bill, which has cross party support, could potentially save many lives AND return many sick people to a decent and productive quality of life.
