This goes straight back to what I’ve been asking for years:  "Did you do your due diligence?“  If you shared the current dire and now viral warnings about bacon without checking it out first, you just passed on an outright lie.  Well meaning folks who pass on such information without checking it out first are… well… just being lazy.
