No one wants to have any kind of disease, but when you’re sick, you want to know what’s making you sick, and then you want treatment for it. This discovery is a big step. Now comes the work of learning how to treat the disease. Antibiotics do not work with a virus. The body must somehow deal with it. But treatments have been developed for other viruses that help the body to fight back. Knowing what the problem is is a big step in knowing how to treat it.
