The Photography of Dave Cottrell

Dave’s photography is an eclectic mix of the natural and distorted natural. Dave uses several lenses in many different locations, but prefers a lens made for a Canon DSLR. High resolution is not his main priority. In reality, he once gave up his much higher megapixel Canon T1i in favour of the more solid and heavier Canon 20D.
Today, he alternates between his 5D, a wonder of tank type construction, not quite bomb proof, but close; and his 60D, which is much higher resolution, has an articulating screen, and shoots great high definition video.
His favourite lens is his customized Tamron 28-300
